Rahul Dravid's Fitness Regime
In one of his interviews, he shared that fitness means everything to him, considering he plays a sport professionally and it is imperative to stay healthy and flexible. It is a part of his profession and he doesn't miss a single day working out. He does strength training for both upper and lower body, cardio workouts including a lot of sprint work and long running sessions. Now that Rahul's not playing cricket professionally, he prefers running to stay in shape. He ensures hitting gym at least thrice a week.
Rahul starts his day early, at around six in the morning with a run followed by meditation session of 30 minutes because he believes that one should not only have a healthy body but also a healthy mind.
Rahul Dravid's Diet Regime
Rahul generally avoids sweets as much as he can and tries and eat healthy. In one of his interviews, he had mentioned that sweets made him sluggish on the field, which is why he liked avoiding them, at least while playing the game. He doesn't follow a particular diet but watches his calorie limit per day. He ensures that his body is hydrated, which is why he drinks various fluids through the day. The doting father loves playing with his sons, which makes for a great stress buster for him.
