E. Kenneth Hauenstein, 90, of Findlay, departed this life at 10:28 p.m. on January 6, 2018 at the Bridge Hospice Center in Bowling Green, Ohio. He was born in Bluffton, Ohio on January 13, 1927 to the late Harry & Martha (King) Hauenstein. Kenneth retired from Borden Dairy in 1989 after 38 years. He went on to retire from the Citrus Place in Bradenton, Florida in 2004.
Kenneth was a 1946 graduate of Pandora High School. He was a member of the Moose Club 698, the American Legion Post 539 and Eagles Post 2633. Kenneth also attended the Connections Church.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Geraldine “Gerry”; his children, Alice D. (David) Radabaugh, Tim (Sandy Hiegel), David C. (Debra Trimble), Judy Ametrano, Paul A. (Ava Fox), and Lee J. (Dana Haynes) Hauenstein; 16 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by one sister, Ruby Vermilya of California. Kenneth was preceded in death by two brothers, Harry Jr. and Russell; as well as two sisters, Gloria (Cupples) and Mary (Blunk).
Friends and family may visit on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 from 1 “” 3 p.m. and 5 “” 7 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday the 11th in the funeral home with Pastor Jim Klausing officiating. Interment will follow in Knollcrest Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to Bridge Home Health and Hospice.
