The Jets have some interesting pending in-house free agents this year. Among them: quarterback Josh McCown and inside linebacker Demario Davis. Until the March 12 start of free agency negotiating, the Jets have exclusive negotiating rights with their pending in-house free agents. So let's rank these guys, from least important to most important.

Where does McCown, coming off a strong season, fall in our rankings here? Scroll down to find out, as the Jets ponder whether or not they will re-sign the veteran journeyman quarterback.
15. TE CHRIS GRAGG
Clearly the Jets' least important unrestricted free agent this offseason. He spent the entire regular season on injured reserve with an ankle injury that he sustained in the preseason. Obviously, he is a guy the Jets can easily replace, as a depth-providing tight end. He has 24 career catches since entering the NFL in 2013. He hasn't played a game the past two seasons, due to injuries.
14. OG DAKOTA DOZIER
He isn't starter material. The Jets drafted him in Round 4 in 2014, but he has started just five career games, including two in 2016 and three in 2017. He is a serviceable backup offensive lineman, but probably nothing more than that. The Jets won't have a problem replacing him.
13. S TERRENCE BROOKS
Another backup. The Jets' starting safeties, Jamal Adams and Marcus Maye, rarely came off the field in 2017. So they didn't really need Brooks, though he did wind up with two interceptions. He came to the Jets in a trade with the Eagles just before the season began. Brooks and Maye actually tied for the Jets' lead in 2017 with two picks apiece.
