NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index was trading nearly 2 per cent up at 357 around 12:50 pm (IST), backed by gains in shares of Godrej Properties (up 6.21 per cent), Oberoi Realty (up 3.04 per cent) and Indiabulls Real Estate (up 2.05 per cent).

Meanwhile, the Nifty Realty index hit a fresh 52-week high of 358 in Tuesday's trade.

Shares of Phoenix Mills (up 1.97 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects (up 1.68 per cent), Sobha (up 1.13 per cent), DLF (up 0.79 per cent) and Delta Corp (up 0.26 per cent) were also trading up.

Housing Development & Infrastructure (down 0.31 per cent) was the only component in the Nifty Realty index that was in the red around that time.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was trading flat at 10,622, while the BSE Sensex was 39 points up at 34,391.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty50 index, 19 were trading in the green, while 31 were in the red.

Coal India, Idea Cellular, ITC, Ashok Leyland, Tata Motors, State Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, NMDC, YES Bank, SAIL, Tata Power and Bank of Baroda were among the most traded stocks on NSE.
