Although the girls 200-yard medley relay team qualified for sectionals, the Nashoba Regional swim and dive teams fell to unbeaten Westborough on Jan. 2.
Westborough boys won, 105-65, while the girls took its meet, 100.5-68.5.
Nashoba, a co-op with Hudson, Marlborough, and Clinton high schools, saw the girls 200 medley relay team of Samantha Cirillo (Hudson), Emma Sullivan (Nashoba), Sarah Ladd (Nashoba) and Molly Trunfio (Hudson) came in second but posted a good enough time, 2 minutes, 10.52 seconds, to qualify for Central/West sectionals.
The Nashoba boys 200 medley relay team of Liam Pyatt (Clinton), Aidan Gross (Nashoba), Jake Eastman (Nashoba) and Quinn Gross (Nashoba) took first with a time of 1:52.66.
Ben Kalber (Nashoba) took first place in the 200 with a sectional qualifying time of 2:02.46. Kalber later came in second place in the 100 with a time of 55.44.
Pyatt returned to take second place in the 100-yard butterfly in 57.97 and second place in the 100 breaststroke, 1:12.23.
Eastman returned to take second place in the 200 yard individual medley in 2:08.14, while placing second in the 100 backstroke, 58.42.
Senior captain Gillian Campbell (Hudson) placed second with a time of 2:23.12 in the 200 freestyle and in the 500 yard freestyle, 6:34.93.
Senior captain Emma Sullivan (Nashoba) took second in both of her individual events, the 200 individual medley, 2:46.63, and 100 backstroke, 1:14.59.
Senior captain Samantha Cirillo (Hudson) took second place in the 50 in 28.75 and junior Sarah Ladd (Nashoba) placed second in the 100 butterfly with a time of 1:19.69.
