How Delhi's homeless brave the cold in night shelters: Ground report

India Today Television | January 9, 2018

Delhi woke to a moderately foggy morning today, with maximum temperature at 21 degrees and minimum temperature at 7 degrees. 45 trains were arriving late, 22 cancelled and 4 rescheduled due to the fog.

As temperature dips below six degrees in New Delhi, extreme cold wave also grips neighbouring parts in the national capital region, with over 70 deaths reported from Uttar Pradesh.

The minimum reading on Saturday had dropped to 4.2 degrees Celsius, the season's lowest so far, leading to a dense fog that disrupted rail services.
