Eighth:
After reviewing the report of Minister of Commerce and Investment, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Saudi Intellectual Property Authority (SIPA), and recommendations prepared by the Council of Economic Affairs and Development No. (55-21/38/D) dated on 2/9/1438H, No. (4-20/39/D) dated on 20/1/1439H, and No. (13-8/39/D) dated on 18/3/1439H, the Cabinet decided to amend Article (3) of the regulatory arrangements of Saudi Intellectual Property Authority, issued by the Council of Ministers Resolution No. (410) dated 28/6/1438H, by adding a representative from the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology to the membership of the Board of Directors of the Authority, and amending paragraph (12) to read as follows:
12- Three persons interested in the subject of intellectual property from non-governmental agencies shall be appointed by a decision from the Council of Ministers upon the recommendation of the Chairman of the Board of Directors to be members.
The Council of Ministers decided to appoint Dr. Fahd bin Ahmed Abu Haimad, Dr. Ali bin Abdullah Al-Meshari, and Dr. Fahd bin Abdulaziz Al-Shuraihi ,who are interested in the subject of intellectual property from non-governmental agencies to be members in the board of directors of Saudi Intellectual Property Authority for a period of three years.
Ninth:
After reviewing the recommendations prepared by the Council of Economic Affairs and Development No. (25-7/38/D) dated 25/4/1438H. No. (46-2/38/D) dated 16/7/1438H and No. (13-10/39/D) dated 25/2/1439H, the Council of Ministers decided to define the tasks of the Ministry of Interior and Ministry of Labor and Social Development and their competencies in the field of combating begging as explained in the resolution and activate the existing anti-begging offices in the Ministry of Labor and Social Development and the opening of new offices in administrative areas where there are no offices, and the continuation of the security force of the Grand Holy Mosque in Makkah and the security force of the Prophet's Holy Mosque in Madinah in their responsibility to fight begging in the Two Holy Mosques.
