Girls basketball Players of the Week for all 15 conferences, Jan. 1-7

We are now in the second month of the high school basketball season. Plenty of players made impacts during the first stretch of the season and NJ.com took a look at the top performer from each conference.

Each week, NJ Advance Media girls basketball reporters Brandon Gould and Brian Deakyne will select one player from each of N.J.'s 15 conferences as the NJ.com Player of the Week. Selections are based on stats reported to njschoolsports.com through Sunday, Jan. 9.

Bove had a strong week with 21 points for Passaic Valley in a game against Cliffside Park. The junior dropped a conference-high five 3-pointers in that contest as Passaic Valley took hold of a 60-32 win.
