Special Task Force (STF) Uttarakhand has arrested one identified as Naseem alias Mota, native of Muzaffarnagar (Uttar Pradesh), from Muzaffarnagar on Monday who was carrying a bounty on him and had been on the run for the past nine years. Notably, he was one of the accused of the robbery case reported from the house of Dr Naim, resident of Jwalapur, Haridwar, in 2008. Three other accused- Gulsher, Shakir and Muntzir- were arrested and sent to jail. But Naseem had been absconding while changing his locations frequently to elude arrest. Investigation revealed that he changed his location while hiding himself in places like Loni, Ghaziabad, Delhi and NCR over the past nine years. Several cases were registered against the accused in several police stations in Uttar Pradesh in the past, police said.
