Dale Abbott, 102, of Rushville, formerly of Macomb, passed away at 6:40 p.m., Friday, Jan. 5, 2018, at the Rushville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Rushville.
He was born on May 1, 1915, in Fulton County, Illinois, the son of David C. and Rhoda May (Trone) Abbott.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2018, at the Wood Funeral Home in Rushville, with Reverend Rob Kirkham officiating. Interment will follow in the Astoria Cemetery in Astoria. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, at the Wood Funeral Home in Rushville. Memorials are suggested to the Littleton United Methodist Church.
