We recently took a stray cat to the Lakeland SPCA Medical Center. As we waited to be called, everyone in the reception area showed genuine interest in our story of how we found her and of our attempts to find someone to take her. We are sure they have heard the same story hundreds of times, but they made us feel that we were special.

When we went into the examining room, the technicians and Dr. Michelle Londono were even more caring. Through their efforts, we were able to locate the cat's owners and return her to her home. Lakeland is truly fortunate to have so many concerned and kind-hearted people living here.
