“America’s Next Top Model” (8 p.m., VH1): Tyra Banks makes her hosting return to the long-running reality series as a new season being. Fourteen fresh faces will be vying for a modeling contract and $100,000.
“NCIS” (8 p.m., CBS): On “Dark Secrets,” after a seemingly happy and successful Navy Lieutenant appears to have taken her own life, Gibbs and the team conduct a thorough investigation, interviewing family and friends from her past and present.
“The Fosters” (8 p.m., Freeform): Ximena and Callie are still in the church seeking sanctuary from ICE. The Adams Fosters’ offer support to the Sinfuego family as they struggle with their immigration status.
“This Is Us” (9 p.m., NBC): In “The Fifth Wheel,” the Pearsons come together under unexpected circumstances. Also, in the past, Jack surprises the family with a summer vacation.
“American Experience: Into the Amazon” (9 p.m., PBS): This documentary recalls the perilous 1914 journey taken by President Theodore Roosevelt and Brazilian explorer Cândido Mariano da Silva Rondon. What was expected to be relatively tranquil trip turned out to be a brutal test of courage and character, claiming the lives of three men.
“The Mick” (9:30 p.m., Fox): Sabrina believes she’s a shoo-in at Yale, but on the day of her interview, she takes a risk that may ruin her chances and jeopardize her future. Meanwhile, Alba gets a visit from her cousin and must pretend to be a maid again, so her family doesn’t disown her.
“Undercover High” (10 p.m., A&E): This offbeat unscripted series follows seven participants (ranging in age from 21 to 26), who have been secretly embedded into Highland Park High School in Topeka, Kansas to provide a look at what high school is like today in America. Producers promise an “eye-opening look” at some of the major issues facing teens today: race, LGBTQ rights, bullying, sexual assault, student achievement and more.
