Police: Hartford man injured in Plainfield rollover crash

PLAINFIELD - A Hartford man was hospitalized with minor injuries after police say he was involved in a single-vehicle rollover crash in Plainfield on Monday morning.

At 7:07 a.m., Plainfield officers responded to a one-car crash on Bishop Crossing Road, according to a Tuesday press release.

Police say Richard Case, 46, of 40 Woodland Drive, was driving northbound on Bishop Crossing Road when he lost control of his vehicle while turning on a curve.

Case's vehicle crossed over the center line, striking a tree resulting in the vehicle overturning, police said.

He was transported by American Ambulance to the William W. Backus Hospital in Norwich for minor injuries, police said.
