The two-year-old Royal was snapped in a £300+ outfit by mum Kate yesterday not showing a hint of nerves as she set off for nursery.

She donned a £120 burgundy coat, chestnut ribbed tights and matching shoes for her big day at Willcocks nursery just 11 minutes away from her Kensington Palace home.

But Royal watchers noticed something even more striking than her mature appearance – her likeness to the Queen.

Charlotte’s similarities to her great-grandma in just these two images include her eyes, chin, nose, and even the swaggering look of confidence.

In pictures of the Queen as a child, she had the same chubby cheeked look as Charlotte.

Look even closer, and even Charlotte’s personality starts to mirror Her Maj.

She can be seen wearing a Cath Kinston’s backpack, albeit half-hidden, that features horses.

The Queen is well known for her love of horses, and still rides them to this day – aged 91.
