BBC China editor quits in equal pay protest

BBC journalist Carrie Gracie announced yesterday that she had quit her post as China editor in protest at an "indefensible pay gap" at the British broadcaster, winning support from dozens of colleagues. Gracie said she resigned last week over a "crisis of trust" which has engulfed the BBC.
