Market Now:  IT stocks slip; MindTree, HCL Tech among top losers
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty50 index, 17 were trading in the green, while 33 were in the red.
NEW DELHI: IT stocks MindTree (down 2.63 per cent), Oracle Financial Services Software (down 1.54 per cent) and HCL Technologies (down 1.26 per cent) were trading down in afternoon trade on Tuesday, dragging the Nifty IT index down.

The Nifty IT index was trading 0.47 per cent down at 11,722 around 01:45 pm (IST).

Tech Mahindra (down 0.62 per cent), Wipro (down 0.58 per cent), Tata Elxsi (down 0.56 per cent) and Tata Consultancy Services (down 0.47 per cent) were also trading in the red.

Infibeam Incorporation (up 1.54 per cent), KPIT Technologies (up 1.03 per cent) and Infosys (up 0.36 per cent) were the three stocks that were in the green around that time.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was 2 points down at 10,621, while the BSE Sensex was 46 points up at 34,398.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty50 index, 17 were trading in the green, while 33 were in the red.

Coal India, Idea Cellular, ITC, Ashok Leyland, NMDC, State Bank of India, Tata Motors, Punjab National Bank, YES Bank, SAIL, Tata Power and Bank of Baroda were among the most traded stocks on NSE.

Coal India, ITC and Reliance Industries continued dominating the Nifty50 pack of stocks.
