Jake Hager who was previously Jack Swagger in the WWE has joined 5 Star Wrestling for their tour and he can't wait to get started.

The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion is joining the organisation, as they prepare for 12 shows in the UK, including ones taking place in Sheffield and Leeds.

When reflecting on joining Hager said:
"It is very exciting, to be at the start of something that is huge, hopefully we can take advantage of being available to 22 million households in the UK and then go world wide with that.

"I'm looking ahead to those I'll face and being here at the crucial stage. It's going to be a big 2018, I'm very grateful to be here in this organisation and to do what I love to do. People will have to tune in or see the shows to see what I will do."

Hager recently announced he was training to compete in Bellator and he revealed the progress he has made in training.

"Training has gone really well so far, guys like Rob Radford, Dave Bautista and others that's my team, my family right now, it is a blessing to provide my family with a living doing a job I love is an honour."

Hager will be working with big UK names and some other former WWE talent in RVD & Rey Mysterio, he looks forward to see what they can all achieve.

"Anytime you work with people you know, to have that family on the road, now we will see what we can all do together here."
