Update : Victor Ratnayake's wife arrested 
The wife of veteran singer Victor Ratnayake, Hashini Ratnayake (32) has been arrested by police over a gold jewellery fraud.
She was arrested by Tangalle Police after she visited there to give a statement.

Victor Ratnayake’s wife at Tangalle Police
The wife of veteran singer, Victor Ratnayake, Hashini Amendra Ratnayake has arrived at Tangalle Police to give a statement.
A spokesperson for Tangalle Police said that she came to the police station with an attorney-at-law and at present, the statement is being recorded.
She has reported to police linking to an investigation into an alleged cheating incident relating to gold jewellery fraud at a state bank, where she had worked before.
