A viral video has captured the terrifying moment a car almost causes a double collision after driving dangerously on the road.

The video has emerged after the dash cam of a cyclist caught the act in Wolverhampton earlier this year.

A car can be seen speeding up to a junction as they approach the main road.

What happens next could have had a much scarier outcome.

Without slowing down, the car drives straight out into the junction, nearly hitting both a bicycle and a white van.

It is their right of way, which the car appears to ignore.

Thankfully the bad driver manages to slip between the two road users without hitting them, but the close call stops the cyclist in their tracks.

The video on Birmingham Mail then shows the car speeding off without stopping to check that they are both okay, nearly colliding with another row of traffic.

After the near-miss, the cyclist and the van driver both stop further down the road to confirm they are unharmed. 

The offending car broke many rules of the Highway Code, including to always “look out for motorcyclists and cyclists at junctions”.

Users reacted on Facebook regarding the bad driver and the dangerous manoeuvre.

One wrote: "So many idiots on the road. That was too close!" whilst another stated that it was “horrific”, according to Birmingham Mail.

A viral video also caught another near-miss, this time with a driver and a pedestrian.

The man can be seen walking on the footpath as a car hurtles towards from at a distance.

He leaps out of the way as the car skids on the grass beside him.

Despite the car ignoring him and continuing to drive on, the man nonchalantly continues on his journey.
