‘Robber’ killed in Sundarbans ‘gunfight’

BAGERHAT: An alleged robber was killed in a reported gunfight with the naval police in Shyala River in Sundarbans early Tuesday (January 9).

Sarankhola Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Kabirul Islam said that the shootout took place at around 7 in the morning.

The deceased was identified as Farid.
