Zach Braff and Sarah Chalke Are Totally Down for a Scrubs Revival Movie

It's hard to believe, but it's been nearly eight years since Scrubs signed off the air. This clearly means it is time to start thinking about a potential revival, because that is what TV is now, just a bunch of formerly beloved shows being revived for new and familiar audiences. The good news for Scrubs fans is, star Zach Braff is ready and willing to slip back into J.D.'s shoes, at least within a limited format.

"I don't think we'd do a traditional TV show thing, but I think we daydream about the idea of doing, like, a TV movie. That's something that feels more realistic," Braff told TV Guide while promoting his new ABC series Alex, Inc. at the Television Critics Association winter press tour.

"Because everyone is so all over the place ... I don't think we'd want to do a revival of the show, but I think what's more realistic and feasible would be to do sort of a -- like Psych did a two-hour movie. I think that would be something we could all do. I mean, I would."

Braff's co-star Sarah Chalke, who will next be seen in ABC's highly anticipated Roseanne revival, says she is also ready to jump on board Scrubs revival. "Would I do a Scrubs reunion movie? Hell yes, I would!" she said. "It was such a great job. We all still hang out and I would love it."

So Scrubs fans, you know what this means. Cross your fingers, scream eagle, and rewatch the best dancing you've definitely ever seen and maybe, just maybe, we can make this happen.

Alex, Inc. premieres Wednesday, Mar. 28 at 8:30/7:30c on ABC.
