Latest Xbox One Update adds “Do Not Distrub”, Next Achivement, and More for Insiders

Microsoft developers have kickstarted their update engines, and the first update for Xbox One Insiders is here. Even though it doesn’t bring any new major features, it does roll out some interesting that will appease the gamers big time. The update is around finding your next achievements, Game Hubs, Social features, and the big Do Not Disturb mode. This is for the Alpha ring, for now, rest of them would get it in next wave.

Do Not Disturb Mode:

This is a rebound from Xbox 360 which allows users to mute any notification while they are doing something which needs all their attention. I see a big use case when watching TV or any video streaming service.  The best part is that it will also let your friends know that you are busy. This way they don’t get annoyed you being online, and still not responding back.

Next Achievements:

Achievements are one of the ways to increase your gamerscore, but most of the gamers are usually lost in finding their next achievement. As of now, gamers do have an achievement section to see how much is complete but post this update, you will be able to use the  “Next Achievements” feature in the Guide, which enables you to view and sort a cross-games list of upcoming Achievements.

You can easily see which Achievements you are closest to, and quickly launch the game to obtain them. Sort filters allow you to prioritize next Achievements by closest, most common, rarest, most common rare, and highest Gamerscore.

Mini-Game Hub:

Switching to game-hub used to make an exit from whatever you are doing, but with Mini Game Hubs, you can easily see friends who are currently playing games, upcoming achievements, looking for group post and so on.
