A 4-daylong conference between Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB), Border Security Force (BSF) kicked off in Rangpur on Sunday.
The meeting started at 2.30pm at Bhinna Jagat, a park in Rangpur Sadar upazila.
The top officials would discuss the present border situation including killing across the border, illegal intrusion, detention, smuggling of firearms, illegal drug and cattle among others. Development activities within 150 metres of International border line and joint surveillances strategies are in the agenda of the conference. The conference will end tomorrow.
