DUBAI: Yet another event where Dubai Police have done something unique and memorable like never before and inspired the world. Dubai Police are all set to honour and give heartfelt recognition to the mothers of fresh academy graduates for raising their sons as tough and formidable personalities so as to be eligible for joining the Academy and serving the nation.  Dubai Police salute every mother during the graduation ceremony for infusing deeply rooted values, principles, and patriotism in their children.

The police have designed exclusive invitations for parents, especially mothers, to thank them for their role in building the nation.

Usually, the invitation envelopes are delivered to the parents through students, but this year will be special, as the police have come up with an invitation box containing a trophy having the name and picture of the student along with a medal for the mother and an invitation card.

Another noteworthy thing about the box is the “Thank You” message engraved on it from Dubai Police Chief Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri to the mothers which says, “Thank you for your contribution in making men of the future and bravehearts who will make the nation proud.” This special gesture sets forth the intention of Dubai Police to honour every mother with a token of gratitude for their endurance and four years of hardship that they resorted to during their son’s military training period.

Brigadier General Ghaith Ghanem Al-Suwaidi said, “The year 2018 is momentous, as for the first time a team from the female police squad is dedicated to distributing the invitations by personally visiting every student’s house. Not only that, a delegation has been also sent to hand over the invitation boxes to the parents of students residing outside the country.”

He further added, “We didn’t want that even a single parent is missed, so our team even flew to Singapore to invite the ailing mother of a student admitted to the hospital out there.”

The graduates securing the top positions in the Academy will be uniquely rewarded by getting a two-night stay at Jumeirah Hotel in Dubai. The student’s hard work finally gets paid off with such a delightful and exciting reward.

The practice of raising a child can be extremely difficult, and mothers definitely deserve our thanks and praise.
