Marvel enthusiasts are getting a closer look at the kingdom of Wakanda.
A new look at director Ryan Coogler's Black Panther debuted Monday during the CFP National Championship, helping tide fans over until the film's Feb. 16 release date.
The Marvel Studios film stars Chadwick Boseman as T'Challa (Black Panther), and the cast also includes Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong'o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker and Andy Serkis.
The new TV spot showcased the King of Wakanda’s fighting skills and offered new glimpses of Jordan’s villainous Killmonger.
The footage comes as excitement for the film is heating up. Last week, Kendrick Lamar revealed he will be producing Black Panther: The Album, and Marvel shared a featurette examining the hero's unique place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
