Lindsey Edwards scores 27 points in Rams' 64-39 win over Tornadoes

Lindsay Edwards poured in 27 points to lead Riverview to a 64-39 win over visiting Booker on Monday night.

The Rams (10-6) used a big third quarter to break it open against a Tornadoes squad coached by Riverview grad Shantia Grace. A 23-12 halftime lead became a 46-20 bulge for Riverview after three quarters.

In addition to the big night from the senior forward Edwards. Junior guard Kaliyah Newell added 14 points.

Sophomore guard Omari Davis led Booker (9-5) with 12 points.

The Rams are at Lithia Newsome in a Class 9A-District 6 game today. Booker is home to Wauchula Hardee in a 6A-10 game on Friday.
