Moragahakanda declared open

Moragahakanda - Kalu Ganga Multi-Purpose Development Project was declared open by the President and the Prime Minister a short while ago.

The project was undertaken at a cost of $ 450 million, funded by China and the project began in 2007.

The hydro-power plant will add 25MW to the national grid.
