Thambuthegama police foil sale of ‘pills’ to school children

A stock of drugs was seized by police in the Thambuthegama area.

The raid was launched by the Thambuthegama police, based on a tip off.

An individual, allegedly  in possession of drugs, was arrested. He is reported to be a 28 year old resident of Nallachchiya, Thambuththegama.

Police suspect that the individual was ready to sell the pills to school children.

The suspect will be produced before the Thambuththegama Magistrate’s Courts.
