BARTOW — Registered voters who reside in Florida House District 39 who have moved or had a name change are encouraged to update their record with the Elections Office before the Feb. 20 Special Primary Election. It’s also important to notify the Elections Office if your signature has changed.
“An address change may mean a voter has moved into or out of House District 39,” said Supervisor of Elections Lori Edwards in a news release. “If a voter updates their record before the election, we can eliminate inconvenience on Election Day.”
Many changes can be made online at PolkElections.com, where voters can also look up their registration information and check to see if they live in House District 39. Voter record updates can also be made by calling the Elections Office at 863-534-5888, Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information visit PolkElections.com.
