Freddy’s ready for business in Denison

After about seven months of development, representatives with Freddy’s Frozen Custard and Steakburgers plan to open the doors to the chain’s latest location in Denison Tuesday. This will be the chain’s first North Texas location outside of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

When it opens Tuesday, the newest Freddy’s restaurant, located just south of the Denison Walmart near the intersection of Morton Street and U.S. Highway 75, will have a capacity to seat 104 guests.

The Kansas-based restaurant chain opened its first location in 2002 and has more than 250 locations open. This latest restaurant represents a focus on growth in the Texas market. In addition to the new Denison location, Freddy’s also has six locations in the Metroplex, including one recently opened in The Colony.
