09:30: Leeds are in talks with Club Brugge for Laurens De Bock.
However, the Whites face competition from Championship rivals Wolves.
Leeds have agreed personal terms on a four-and-a-half-year deal with De Bock but they are yet to settle on a transfer fee.
Garry Monk to Nottingham Forest?
09:00 Garry Monk wants to take charge of Nottingham Forest.
Former Leeds and Middlesbrough boss Monk is on the hunt for a quick return to the dugout after being axed by Boro on December 23, according to the Sunday Mirror.
Sunderland signing today
07:45: Sunderland are expected to confirm the signing of Chelsea defender Jake Clarke-Salter today.
He will be the first arrival of the Chris Coleman era.
Leeds transfer talks
07:15: Thomas Christiansen says talks are needed with Leeds’ top brass about whether to pursue new signings in the January transfer window.
When asked whether Leeds need to sign new players this month, Christiansen said: ”This is something we need to talk about.”
Pressed on whether it’s an urgent discussion, he replied: ”We need to speak and see what happens.”

Lewis Grabban to Cardiff?
20:00: Cardiff boss Neil Warnock is looking at a move for Bournemouth striker Lewis Grabban.
Grabban is back with the Cherries after his loan deal with Sunderland was cancelled and Warnock hopes to land him this month, according to The Sun.
It’s claimed Aston Villa and Wolves are also monitoring the situation.
Matt Targett to Fulham?
18:15: Fulham are set to sign Southampton left-back Matt Targett.
According to The Sun, Targett will join the Whites on loan until the end of the season.
Nottingham Forest beat Arsenal
18:00 Nottingham Forest have done the Championship proud by knocking FA Cup holders Arsenal out of the competition.
Eric Lichaj (2), Ben Brereton and Kieran Dowell were on target for the Reds.
Aston Villa blow
17:45: Aston Villa target Nick Powell is set to extend his Wigan contract.
Steve Bruce has attempted to land the Latics forward but Powell has told friends he is open to signing a new deal, according to The Sun.
Sunderland double deal?
16:30: Sunderland boss Chris Coleman plans to bolster his squad with the loan signings of Ben Woodburn and Ethan Ampadu.
Coleman hopes to bring Liverpool forward Woodburn and Chelsea utility man Ampadu to the Stadium of Light in the next week, according to the Mirror.
Samuel Saiz sees red
14:50: A disastrous afternoon for Leeds as they have been dumped out of the FA Cup by League Two outfit Newport County.
Leeds looked set for the FA Cup fourth round thanks to Gaetano Berardi’s long-range effort but Conor Shaughnessy's own goal and Shawn McCoulsky's late header earned Newport a famous win.
To make matters worse, Samuel Saiz is set to miss at least three Championship fixtures after being sent off at the death.
Birkir Bjarnason to SPAL?
13:10: Serie A outfit SPAL are eyeing Aston Villa midfielder Birkir Bjarnason.
Bjarnason’s agent Jim Solbakken told TuttoMercatoWeb: “Birkir would like to return to Serie A, he was very good in Italy and would like to play again in the Italian league.
“But he is totally focused on Aston Villa: the club is fighting to get back in the Premier League, his only thought is to do well with his club's shirt.
“We’ll see what happens.”
Tyronne Ebuehi to Norwich City?
12:40: Norwich are set to land ADO Den Haag right-back Tyronne Ebuehi.
Press Association reporter Nick Mashiter tweeted: “Norwich are close to signing Nigeria international right-back Tyronne Ebuehi from Den Haag.
“He was at Carrow Road for the Chelsea game.”
Jake Clarke-Salter to Sunderland?
12:10: Chelsea defender Jake Clarke-Salter is set to undergo a medical today ahead of a loan move to Sunderland.
The 20-year-old will spend the rest of the season on loan with the Championship strugglers and his arrival will be announced tomorrow.
He will become Chris Coleman’s first signing of the January transfer window.
