(MENAFN - Jordan News Agency) Ramallah, Jan. 8 (Petra) -- Israeli occupation forces early Monday detained at least 17 Palestinians during raids launched across the occupied West Bank, a Palestinian source said.

The Palestinian Prisoners Society said in a statement that Israeli soldiers stormed the West Bank cities of Hebron, Bethlehem, Nablus, Jenin, Ramallah, El-Bireh and Tulkarem and arrested the 17 Palestinians.
