The Golden Globes 2018 was a celebration of the best film and TV of 2017, but it was also a celebration of Hollywood’s woman, who stood firm against a culture of sexual harassment in the entertainment industry.
In a bold move many women wore plunging necklines and dark garments in defiance against the sexualisation of women in Hollywood.
Women such as actresses Kate Hudson, Halle Berry and Catherine Zeta-Jones made strong statements in black and daring sheer, low cut dresses at the awards show.
Award-winning actresses showed that they refused to be cowed by the spate of harassment and assault allegations that have come to light in recent months.
