ABC is sticking with another of its retro game shows.
The Disney-owned network has renewed its revival of The Gong Show for a second season. Mike Myers will continue to host the show as his alter ego, Tommy Maitland.
Exec produced by Will Arnett, season twoof the show will resume production this year. A return date has not yet been determined.
Season one of the Sony Pictures Television revival aired in June, where it became a sturdy performer for the network in the traditionally little-watched summer period. ABC has found breakout success with retro game shows across its schedule, having also already renewed Match Game, Celebrity Family Feud and $100,000 Pyramid.
