The Warriors (32-8) have listed Kevin Durant as questionable to play on Monday against the Denver Nuggets (21-18) at Oracle Arena because of a strained right calf that has kept him out for the past two contests.
The Warriors have listed several other players as probable to play, including Stephen Curry (left knee soreness), Draymond Green (right knee soreness), Andre Iguodala (left knee & hip soreness), Shaun Livingston (hip tightness) and Omri Casspi (hip contusion). But the Warriors said none of those injuries are new, and are only reported to adhere to the NBA’s want to have detailed injury reports.
The Warriors have been cautious with Durant since he taking a fall in the first quarter of Wednesday’s game in Dallas. But Durant told Bay Area News Group on Saturday that he still feels pain.
“I wouldn’t say it’s the end game. But more so, I need to feel better,” Durant told Bay Area News Group. “I’m not thinking about playoffs or how to get rest. I just want my calf to feel better so I can go out there and play the way I play. I don’t want any restrictions out there.”
