MAC Mineralize Skinfinish- Soft and Gentle, Dark: Review, swatches

Contouring and highlighting is that one makeup step which a lot of us either love or love to hate. A lot of makeup artists swear by it, and a lot of them do not like it (like Bobbi Brown!). A lot of girls either do it every day, or just don’t. And while I like to go subtle with the contouring and highlighting, I must admit that I do enjoy doing it every now and then, especially when I’m wearing full foundation. Of late, I’ve been hooked on to these two products from MAC, and have been totally loving them. Read on to know what and why!
MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural- Dark
Deep Caramel is what MAC describes this shade as. It is a deep colored powder with a very soft, almost invisible sheen which makes this powder perfect for adding a soft contour to the face. The powder, being enriched with multi-mineral complex and vitamin E, is perfect for those with combination- dry skin.
As a contouring product, this adds just the right amount of depth to the aplication points without making it look too jarring. So your face will get contoured without looking un-natural, something I really love!
Depending on what shade you pick up, you could use this powder as a full-face powder too since this one comes in 18 shades and you are likely to pick one that matches your skintone.

MAC Mineralize Skinfinish- Soft and Gentle
The most talked about powder highlighter on this planet, and rightly so! MAC describes this shade as a ‘Gilded peach bronze’ which makes this highlighter universally suitable. If you happen to follow YouTube makeup tutorials, you’d know how much everyone around the globe loves this highlighter. It adds just the right amount of sheen to the skin and blends well with the skin ever so beautifully, giving you that soft lit-from-within glow. Also, you need a very tiny bit of this highlighter to get that glow going!
