Waiting for a Mentor: Imagine being a mentor

Lee is a great kid who likes playing outside with his friends. He is a fourth grader at Riverside Elementary and loves math. That's because he's good at it but will also admit he enjoys writing second best, even though he still needs a little help. He must have a good teacher.

Firefighting or patrolling the streets of Brainerd is in Lee's future. He dreams of making the city safe for us all. He may only be 9, but he has a purpose.

Lee says his favorite days include going to grandma's house and eating cheese curds, but he always ends up excitedly talking about driving a four-wheeler or anything motorized. He would really like to learn to hunt and drive a snowmobile.

Can you imagine being Lee's friend? Be his mentor, he is waiting for you.
