The State media In-charge of BJP Devendra Bhasin has blamed the Congress party for trying to politicise the issue pertaining to a sick person. Launching a scathing attack on Congress leaders for their statements on Prakash Pandey episode, Bhasin said that a time when the BJP and the State Government is concentrating its efforts in providing best medical facility to Pandey, the Congress leaders are engaging in politics. He said that CM Trivendra Singh Rawat himself visited the hospital and appointed one of his OSD U D Bhatt in the hospital to ensure that best possible treatment is provided to Pandey.
