Henrik Fisker has shared more pictures of his upcoming car the EMotion ahead its launch next week.

The Fisker EMotion will make its official debut at CES 2018 in Las Vegas on Tuesday.

It is receiving a lot of attention ahead of its launch, with many comparing it to the Tesla Model S, tipping it to become a potential rival  when it goes on sale. 

From the images, Fisker looks to be pushing the boundaries in terms of design to make the car stand out. 

One of virtues of an EV is that there is no bulky engine at the front and therefore elements such as a grille become redundant. 

Instead of opting for a faux grille, Fisker has used an interesting new motif in which the car’s LiDar autonomous deriving sensors will be house. 

It also has a much shorter front-end due to the lack of bulky powertrain. 

The car’s doors are really unique with Lamborghini-style ones in the front and butterfly wings in the back.

These doors, not only look stunning but also offer easier access into the cabin in cramped spaces. 

It also helps to reveal that there will be only four seats in the luxury motor which is indicates greater space per passenger but obviously not as practical. 

Claims about the cars performance indicate there could be over 400 miles of range on a single charge and a price tag of around $129,000. 

Fisker also claims the car will be able to achieve 125 miles of charge in just nine minutes. 

Previously the car boss has also claimed that the “ EMotion battery pack will be highest energy density” thanks to new technology the film are working on with LG, who will supply the car’s batteries. 

The car is also rumoured to have a number of self-driving modes with a number of sensors and cameras fitted to the car. 

It will be brought to marker in low-volumes in 2019.  

Fisker will reveal the new EMotion at CES 2018 on Tuesday at 7pm.
