One person was killed in a fire at a home in Bound Brook on Sunday, the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office confirmed.

The fire was reported at 358 Talmage Ave. just before 4 p.m.

It is currently under investigation, led by the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office Fire Investigation Unit and Bound Brook Police Department, authorities said.

Officials have not yet identified what started the fire at the residence or identified the victim.
