US security aid not needed had leaders not ‘parked’ black money abroad: PTI chief

Islamabad,

Had the leaders were not indulged in ‘parking’ black money abroad, Pakistan would’nt have faced embarrassment from the US decision to suspend security aid, Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan stated.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan said on Saturday that Nawaz Sharif and not the masses were deceitful as such rulers indulge in money laundering to fulfill their greed, Express News reported on Sunday.

Khan was referring to the US President Donald Trump’s tweet last week in which he accused Pakistan of being deceitful despite receiving billions of dollars in aid, Express News reported.

“Pakistan would never have to face embarrassment had the rulers not sought aid from the US,” he told supporters at a rally in Chakwal.’The US is blaming Pakistan for its failure in the war in Afghanistan, despite the war having a detrimental effect on the tribal areas and its people,’ Mr Khan asserted.

Mr Khan said the nation will only receive due respect and dignity if the rulers refrained from indebting the country with loans and stashing money abroad.
