Vodafone Qatar alters financial year end to 31 December

Vodafone Qatar has changed its financial year ending from 31 March to 31 December, following an Extraordinary General Assembly held on 18 October 2017. Its financial year will now run from 01 January to 31 December. This will ensure closer alignment of the company's results announcements and other reporting requirements, with those of other listed companies in Qatar.

The board will meet on 18 January and will issue a trading update for the nine-month period ending 31 December 2017. Its audited financial results for the nine-month period starting 01 April 2017 and ending 31 December 2017 will be announced within three months of the year-end, along with a proforma unaudited income statement for the twelve-month period starting 01 January 2017 and ending 31 December 2017.
