Doha: Ministry of Economy and Commerce, in collaboration with Al Fardan Automobiles, dealer of BMW vehicles in Qatar, announced the recall of BMW Series 7 Saloon and Series 5 Saloon models of 2015-2017 over possible corruption in software
The Ministry said the recall campaign comes within the framework of its ongoing efforts to protect consumers and ensure that car dealers follow up on vehicle repairs.
The Ministry also said that it will coordinate with the dealers to follow up on the maintenance and repair works and will communicate with customers to ensure that the necessary repairs are carried out. Customers are also urged to report any violations to its Consumer Protection and Anti-Commercial Fraud Department through the following channels:
