Many politicians, government opposition figures and peace activists have gathered in Kabul to back the anti-Daesh stances of Balkh governor Atta Mohammad Noor. They also condemned what they called the wrong policy of Kabul against rising Daesh threats across Afghanistan, particularly in the country’s north.
