Weekend preps: MacDuffie’s Jocelyn St. Onge records 1000th career point

Jocelyn St. Onge had 26 points, including the 1,000th of her career, as the MacDuffie girls basketball team beat Providence Country Day, 61-25, Saturday in Granby.

The Mustangs are 3-3 on the season.

Berkshire 48, Williston 43 — Sarah Sullivan was 6-for-6 from the free-throw line and finished with 20 points, but the Wildcats fell at home Saturday.

Boys basketball

Williston 60, Deerfield 57 — Garrett Sullivan had 12 points, while Filip Rebraca added 11 as the Wildcats improved to 8-1 with the win at home, Saturday.

Boys ice hockey

Williston 2, Berkshire 2 — Cam Mariani scored twice, while Greg Iverson (Belchertown) made 34 saves for the visiting Wildcats, Saturday.

Girls ice hockey

Tabor 2, Williston 1 — Caroline DiFiore scored, but the Wildcats fell at Lossone Rink, Saturday.

Swimming & diving

Kingswood Invitational — The Williston girls team placed first Saturday, while the boys squad finished second.

Wrestling

Williston 36, Pomfret 12; Deerfield 42, Williston 33; Suffield 39, Williston 24 — The Wildcats’ six grapplers combined to go 16-2 as the squad went 1-2 on the road Saturday.

Cam Lawrence (126 pounds) and Easthampton’s William Gunn (182) each went 2-1. Kevin O’Sullivan (170), Max Livingston, Andikan Ntia-James and Russell Midgley (285) were each 3-0.
