PANDORA — An elderly deceased woman was found outside of Hilty Home in Pandora on Sunday morning, the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office and the Pandora Police Department reported.
Her name has not been released. A statement from Sheriff Brian Siefker and Pandora Police Chief Scott Stant did not indicate whether the woman was a resident of the nursing home.
The sheriff’s office received a call from Hilty Home about the woman at 8:37 a.m.
The woman was pronounced dead by Putnam County Coroner Dr. Anne Horstman, who is assisting with the investigation.
Also at the scene were Pandora Emergency Medical Service and Coldren-Crates Funeral Home.
