The wait is over. The trailer of Bhaagamathie starring Anushka Shetty is finally here. The film is a period thriller and promises to show the Baahubali actress in a never seen before avatar. The poster and the teaser of the film, produced by UV Creations and directed by G Ashok, already had fans waiting for the trailer. And the wait has been worth it. After her stupendous performance in Arundhati, Anushka is all set to give fans some more sleepless nights with Bhaagamathie.
Not just fans, Sweety’s alleged boyfriend and Baahubali co-star Prabhas also was left impressed by the trailer. Just when the video hit the internet, the Saaho star took to his Facebook account to share the trailer link and congratulate the entire team. In his post, Prabhas said, “True hardwork and sheer dedication… Good luck Sweety, Ashok and the entire team of UV Creations for Bhaagamathie.”
We couldn’t agree more. The trailer is proof that the entire team has put in a lot of efforts to bring out an edge of the seat thriller. The film is all set to release on 26 January, 2018 on the Republic Day weekend. This is Anushka Shetty’s first release after the magnanimous success of Baahubali: The Conclusion and therefore expectations are high. Interestingly, the film will have to lock horns with yet another period saga – Deepika Padukone’s Padmavat which releases a day earlier on 25 January, 2018.
