NORFOLK, Neb. (AP) — Officials say more than 30 jobs likely will be added when an industrial hose plant is expanded in Norfolk.

The Norfolk Daily News reports that Continental announced Monday that its $9.3 million project will provide more than 19,000 square feet (1,800 square meters) of new space for its rubber mixing operations. The construction is expected to begin immediately and be finished by the end of the first quarter next year.

The Norfolk plant is part of Germany-based Continental's ContiTech division. The plant employs around 360 people now.
