Dutch bank ABN Amro announced plans to test contactless payments with wearables. Customers have been invited to join a group of around 500 testers, after ABN Amro already conducted internal tests of the new wearables. The devices include a ring, watch, armband and key ring.

The bank claims a first with a dedicated wearable connected to the customer's bank account. Customers participating in the test are asked to provide feedback over a mobile app so the service can be optimised further. ABN Amro is working with MasterCard and Digiseq on the plans.
