Firefighting community pays tribute to Matt LeTourneau
Fallen firefighter Matthew LeTourneau always wanted to be a firefighter and he encouraged his fellow firefighters to “never stop training.” On Sunday black bunting was displayed over the engine bay at Springfield Fire Company to commemorate LeTourneau. Police investigate 2 shootings that occurred within minutes in Chester
Police say a 14-year-old boy and a 21-year-old man were both shot just minutes apart from one another Sunday evening. Police say they were dispatched to the Chester area around 5:40 p.m. Sunday and found the boy with a gunshot wound to his foot. The Philadelphia Inquirer reports the boy was transported to an area medical center where he was treated and later released.
Downingtown Borough Council withdraws from Kardon Park lawsuit
Not everything goes according to plan. Downingtown Borough Council unanimously approvedTuesday to withdraw from the Kardon Park lawsuit in which developers sought to build homes in Downingtown Borough and East Caln Township. Councilwoman Ann Feldman recused herself from voting because of her legal involvement in opposing the development project in the parkland.
Rep. Costello gets primary challenge from the right in GOP
